Pieterpik has worked in the garden seed sector for over 100 years. For generations, we have supplied vegetable, herb and flower seeds. We select, multiply, package and sell our seeds in bulk and consumer packaging.

Pieterpik is the largest supplier of garden seeds for the consumer market in the Benelux, and a major player in the European market.
Our production facility in Luinjeberd supplies seeds in all quantities to the international commercial market. We offer a comprehensive range with more than 2500 varieties. Our main activities are variety selection and conservation, seed production and cleaning, quality control and seed packaging. We coordinate these activities with the greatest possible care to ensure the availability of the right product at the right time. As a result, many of our products can be delivered within a few days.

From seed to sachet

We produce our seeds all over the world with numerous growers and cultivation companies. The basic material (basic seed of a variety) is maintained under our own management in our greenhouses and production fields in Luinjeberd and elsewhere in the Netherlands. 
We are and feel involved with our products and customers, from cultivation to sale. By selecting and maintaining the varieties ourselves and keeping seed production in-house, we can guarantee the quality at each step. Quality control and assurance is standard during every step of the process. 
Our production process, from "seed to sachet", is set up so that the origin of a batch of seeds and all treatments it undergoes up to its final destination can be traced. 
At our production and storage facility in Luinjeberd, everything has been aligned to optimise processing. We have all the facilities necessary for seed cleaning, conditioned storage, laboratory, experimental garden and an extensive machine pool for the production of retail packaging.
