Pieterpikzonen Holding BV is expanding!
We are delighted and proud to announce that Wing Seed BV has joined Pieterpikzonen Holding BV group per 1st of November 2022.
For many years, there has already been a close and strategic cooperation between the two companies in the shared business unit called Pieterpikzonen Asia BV. This collaboration has led to a new phase, being the take-over of Wing Seed BV.
For us a logical step, as both companies can complement each other in the seed market and assortment wise.
Wing Seed will be future-resilient as part of Pieterpikzonen group and will have the opportunity to continue to grow as an independent operating company in the professional vegetable market.
The acquisition is the next step to strengthen and broaden our position in the vegetable- and garden seed market and to serve our clients even better.
We, as Pieterpikzonen Holding BV, are happy to be offered the possibility to buy the company from Mr. Frederik Gerrits, who will remain managing director of Wing Seed for the next few years.
This will provide us with ample time to integrate the two companies smoothly and carefully. The current activities of Wing Seed and their location in Enkhuizen will remain unchanged.
Of course activities that strengthen us both will be implemented, such as in the field of product range and IT-systems. The acquisition does mean that the Pieterpikzonen team will be expanded with 8 new colleagues. We welcome them warmly and thank them for their commitment, involvement and trust.
